3 Special Features of Column Moving Machining Center Introduction

CNC machining center could be categorized into two types: fixed column and column moving. The column moving machining center has the following special points:

1. The three-axis axial movement is all above the column, therefore the three-axis moving parts are not affected by the workpiece. It performs excellently in heavy load working.
2. Due to the fixed design of table, there’s no need to concern the interference between the huge or special shaped workpieces and the machine. Even the parts with an incorrect center of gravity can be processed with high precision.
3. It is easier to approach the table, enabling easier operation and workpiece loading/unloading.
