Maximizing Efficiency and Longevity: Recommended Conditions for CNC Lathes & Machining Center Workspaces
There are several dos and don'ts of constructing machinery plants. Please read this article as a reference to build a suitable working environment. For regular functions, please meet these conditions: Temperature : 15~28 Celsius Humidity: 40~60 RH Temperature difference in 24 hours cannot exceed ±2 Celsius
Generally, Machine equipment is installed between processing workshop . However, due to multiple electronic equipment, the power grid fluctuates widely. Therefore, installing CNC machine tools requires stringent control on power supply and voltage. The fluctuations need to be in an allowable range and relatively stable. Otherwise, it will impact the function of CNC machines. The installation location of the machines should be far away from direct sunlight, seismic sources and heat sources, and avoid too much humidity, too much dust or corrosive gas.
Generally, the electrical cabinet has a fan or AC to maintain the processing temperature of electronic components, particularly the CPU. The temperature of the CPU is constant or only changes slightly. High temperature and humidity will shorten the service life of the control system and increase malfunction. The rising temperature and humidity or too much dust will cause short circuits.
While not using these machine tools, we suggest that it must be powered up regularly once or twice in a week, at least one hour a time. By doing so, the powered machine will be heated up and bring down the humidity inside the device. As a result, we can avoid electronic components from being damp and at the same time notice any electrical alerts to avoid system or data loss.
The working environment is important for machine life. If you are building a machinery plant and are interested in our CNC products, please do hesitate to contact us.
