Dependability through comprehensive manufacturing capabilities

Type of CNC lathe chuck

The chuck is an indispensable helper in lathe processing and an important device responsible for clamping the workpiece. You can choose the most suitable chuck according to the type of machine, processing requirements, and workpiece type to make the production process smoother and produce the highest quality products!

Let's take a look at the characteristics of various chucks with TMT ▾

#Manual Chuck: Use manpower to tighten the jaws to clamp the workpiece, without the need for a power source is the biggest advantage.
#Hydraulic chuck: Driven by hydraulic pressure, with high clamping force, it is widely used in machine tools.
#Air Chuck: For workpieces that are easily deformed, the air-driven type will be selected to reduce the clamping force and avoid the workpiece damage.
#Collet Chuck: When the workpiece is a long rod with a small diameter, the use of a three-jaw chuck will result in insufficient clamping force due to high centrifugal force; and the workpiece is easily deformed during inner hole processing, so the collet chuck is most suitable for bar, automatic feeding, and three-jaw clamping deformable workpiece.
#Indexing chuck: Can complete one-time clamping and processing. With high indexing accuracy and the advantages of mass production, the indexing chuck can perform automatic indexing when the spindle rotates.
